A question to work through

What would the conversation cost?

Before paying, ask for the total in writing and an explanation of what it covers.

If a price is the first thing you see, pause over what it includes. Are you paying for an assessment, a membership or something else?

Start with the visit charge

As of September 30, 2026, there was no approved MOTS-c medicine. There was no price for an approved product published by its maker or by a government. A

A list price is the maker's published product price.

Ask about the actual visit charge instead of treating an advertised treatment price as your total.

What is charged for the visit itself?

Ask for the consultation fee in writing. Ask whether it pays for the assessment even if the clinician offers no medicine.

Ask when payment is taken, what happens if the visit is cancelled and what a refund would depend on. Read the answer before entering payment details.

If a membership is part of the offer

Ask whether it renews, how to stop it and when the next charge would happen. Ask whether an introductory offer has a different later price.

Have the service explain what the membership includes. Does the visit cost extra? Are any tests, medicine or follow-up visits billed apart?

If tests are proposed

Ask which tests are being discussed and why. Ask who bills for them and whether reviewing the results costs extra. Ask whether your insurance would pay for any part.

Get the price for that exact set of tests. A bundle name does not tell you what you are paying to have checked.

Compare the same parts

A visit-only quote and a bundle describe different offers. Ask each service to spell out the visit, any recurring charge and any separate charge.

Keep that written answer beside the cancellation terms. If a part is still unclear, ask for it to be explained before making the comparison.

Carry this with you

The useful figure is the written total for what is actually offered, with future and separate charges made clear.

Ask your plan about payment
